Mat has earned a Collaborative Piano Certificate from Utah Valley University with an emphasis in instrumental studies. He specializes in chamber music with soloists and ensembles. He enjoys collaborating with solo instrumentalists and engaging with other musicians in group work. In July of 2022, he performed chamber music in Bulgaria with members of the Vidin Sinfonietta as well as conductor, professor, and cellist, Dr. Ovidiu Marinescu.
