Instilling a love for musical learning is something Mat values and is dedicated to. He abides by the philosophy that every individual can tap into the potential for musicianship and artistry in their own unique way. He has worked with students from as young as three years old up to students in their middle and late adulthood. He incorporates a well-rounded palate of technique, theory, expression and and articulation, compositional exploration, and performance skills in his private lessons. He has also successfully assisted students prepare for college-level auditions, recitals, and other professional performances.
